You cut clips for a client in the morning, for your own channel in the afternoon, and for a third project at the weekend. Each has its own look, accounts and tone. Pickin workspaces give every project its own space, with a switcher at the top of the app to move from one to another in a click.
A workspace is a client or a channel with its settings, accounts and figures, kept apart from the others.
Why keep projects apart
When everything lives in one place, mistakes come fast: a logo on the wrong video, a clip posted to another client’s account, statistics that cannot be read because three channels add up in them. Every video then needs its settings checked again, and every report needs sorting by hand.
Keeping projects apart fixes this at the source. A client’s settings apply to their videos and nothing else. Their social accounts appear only in their space. Their figures read on their own.
What a workspace keeps apart
Each workspace has its brand kit: logo, placement, subtitles, framing, automatic hashtags, music. It has its TikTok, Instagram and YouTube accounts, connected once. It has its library of videos and clips, its publishing calendar, its statistics and its edits.
Credits stay on your account: you spend them in whichever workspace you are in, with nothing to split. Your Pickin account does not change; only the space you work in does.
- Brand kit and default settings specific to the project.
- Social accounts attached to the right client.
- Library, calendar and statistics filtered.
- Credits shared across the whole account.
Moving between projects
The current workspace shows at the top of the sidebar, with its colour. Click it to pick another or create a new one: give it a name and a colour, that is all. Every screen reloads in the chosen project, and Pickin remembers the last one you opened.
A “General” space always exists. It holds everything you had before workspaces and cannot be deleted. If you delete another workspace, its videos, posts and accounts join General: nothing is lost.
A report per client, ready to send
Open Statistics from a client’s workspace: views, likes, comments and shares of their published clips, video by video. “Share my stats” turns it into a report you can send as is, with no other client’s figures to take out.
For a clipper this is often what makes the difference: showing each client what their clips produced, with figures that concern them alone.
How many workspaces per plan
The Starter plan includes the General workspace. Creator allows three, Pro ten. If you move to a lower plan, the newest workspaces become read-only: their content stays visible, but nothing new is made in them until you change plan or delete them.
To begin, create a workspace for your most regular client, connect their accounts and set their brand kit. The next video you cut for them goes out with the right settings, and their figures read apart.
